They include resources for physicians as well as informational handouts for them to share with their patients’ families.

  • Bariatric surgery practice tool

Handouts for parents and families, available in English and Spanish, include:

  • Be physically active daily
  • Eat a healthy breakfast every day
  • Eat more family meals
  • Fruits and vegetables for better health
  • Limit sugar-sweetened beverages
  • Limit total screen time to 2 hours a day
  • Proper portions
