Description

The INTERMED method is an action-oriented, decision support tool for clinicians, which assesses patient complexity, stimulates interdisciplinary communication, and can help patients and clinicians make decisions about treatment plans. It is a multidimensional rating scale used by health care providers to conduct a quick yet comprehensive assessment of complex medical and surgical patients.
