The Behavioral Health Treatment Facility Locator is a searchable database of more than 11,000 programs around the country that treat alcoholism, alcohol abuse, and drug abuse problems. The locator includes outpatient treatment programs, residential treatment programs, hospital inpatient programs, and partial hospitalization/day treatment programs.

This database includes the following search features:

  • Quick search: Finds the substance abuse treatment facilities closest to the Zip code, city, or street address entered
  • Detailed search: Allows the user to narrow the search by specifying facility characteristics such as type of care, services provided, or primary focus
  • List search: An advanced feature that allows users to identify, print, and download information on facilities by city, county, zip code, State, or territory or the whole United States

The following additional features are also provided:

  • File download: Allows the user to download a computer-readable file containing treatment facility information
