Description
The National Quality Strategy (NQS) was first published in March 2011 and is led by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality on behalf of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Established as part of the Affordable Care Act, the NQS serves as a catalyst and compass for a nationwide focus on quality improvement efforts and an approach to measuring quality.
The NQS Tools page includes the following resources:
- National Quality Strategy 5-Year Anniversary Stakeholder Toolkit: This toolkit can be used by organizations to showcase their alignment with and support of the National Quality Strategy during the 5-year anniversary of the Strategy in 2016.
- National Quality Strategy Stakeholder Toolkit: Created to support the activities of private and public organizations to advance the mission of the NQS, this toolkit contains links to fact sheets that can be printed and distributed, blogs, and social media announcements.
- Slide Set—National Quality Strategy overview: This set of 31 PowerPoint slides provides essential background about the NQS.
